Snowshoeing is a perfect way to enjoy the beautiful white landscapes of the mountains and spectacular views of Vancouver. It is also a nice winter activity and a way to go escape the city for some fresh air. We have made a list of the top 5 best snowshoe trails around Vancouver.
Eagle Bluff & Black Mountain, Cypress
With some really nice views over Vancouver, Eagle Bluff winter hike is our favorite one on the North Shore. This moderate backcountry trail is just about 40 min from the city of Vancouver. The easier access is from the downhill ski area of Cypress Mountain.

Brandywine Falls (Bungee Bridge)- Sea to Sky Trail

Elfin Lake Snowshoe Trail:
With a spectacular view of the snowy mountains this and just 1h30 min drive from Vancouver and a 30 min drive from downtown Squamish Elfin Lake is a beautiful winter hike. From October on you will need chains for your car to reach the parking lot. You can split the snowshoe hike in 2 days by sleeping at Elfin Lake Hut (11km), make sure to book your place here.
